Recently I’ve discovered the amazingness know as the Goodyear Grabber; a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 modified for actor James Garner for rally racing. My life is now more complete. Oppo, there has to be other muscle cars in this era modified for a rally, please share them. Enlighten oppo as a whole. Think of the children.

I read up on its history, it's awesome. Now it sports Goodrich tires, :). And really glad this car was repaired. I've seen the pics before it was, it was an absolute mess!

I read he had three, I just remember this one because I got a diecast of it, :). One of them had a shorten wheelbase too, forget which though.

It seems early 60's Falcons were popular for rally use.

Not sure if it counts, but a Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda once ran Pikes Peak.

Here’s what looks to be a ‘68 Nova or similar vintage (or at least the shell of one).

And apparently Corvette rally cars are more common than one would imagine.

It may be a little too modern to count but this El Camino ran the Baja 1000 in 1990.

not exactly classic muscle, but it’s the same purpose. 93 fox mustang with a 383 stroker windsor of around 450hp/450tq. on open and fast stages it beat turbo subies. Attention getter for a number of years until it torque rolled out of a ravine damaging the shell.
